Immunizations Offered
At Ridgeline Medical we currently offer two immunizations at our clinic:
Tdap — Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Whooping Cough) The Tdap vaccine protects against three bacterial infections. Tetanus (lockjaw) can cause painful muscle stiffness and spasms. Diphtheria is a serious throat infection that can block the airway. Pertussis, commonly known as whooping cough, spreads easily and can be especially dangerous for infants and older adults. A Tdap booster is recommended for adolescents, adults, and is particularly important during pregnancy. If it has been more than 10 years since your last booster, talk to your provider about whether you’re due.
Influenza — Annual Flu Vaccine The seasonal flu vaccine is updated each year to match circulating strains of influenza. The CDC recommends annual flu vaccination for everyone 6 months and older. Getting vaccinated not only reduces your risk of illness but also helps protect those around you — including young children, elderly family members, and people with compromised immune systems — who may be more vulnerable to serious complications.
Our Approach We respect that every patient and every family is different. Our providers are happy to answer your questions, discuss any concerns, and help you make an informed decision about vaccinations.
