O-Shot® Treatment at Ridgeline Medical

Family Medicine & Urgent Care

Family Medicine

The O-Shot® Procedure

The treatment begins with a simple blood draw (6-8 ccs). This blood sample is processed using a centrifuge and FDA-approved tubes to concentrate the PRP, which is then prepared for injection.

Local anesthesia and numbing cream are applied to the vaginal and clitoral areas. The PRP is injected into the clitoral glans and around the G-spot area. The entire injection process lasts about a minute, with minimal discomfort reported by patients.

FAQs

Many women notice improvements in sexual arousal and orgasm intensity within days. Full effects typically manifest after three months, with benefits lasting between 1 to 4 years.

Since the treatment uses your own PRP, complications are rare. It is essential that the procedure is performed in a sterile environment to avoid contamination.

Most insurance plans do not cover the O-Shot® as it is not considered medically necessary.

Patients may opt for re-treatments as the effects of the initial treatment begin to wane, typically between 1 to 4 years.
