Jared A. Gifford, M.Div., Mental Health & Behavioral Health Support Specialist

Jared A. Gifford, M.Div., provides compassionate, values-based mental health support to individuals facing emotional, relational, spiritual, and life challenges at Ridgeline Medical in Idaho Falls. He brings more than 5,000 hours of direct mental health care experience, drawn from both civilian and military settings, to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where people can explore personal meaning, healing, and growth.
Jared's background includes service as a U.S. Army Chaplain, including a Middle East combat deployment, where he supported service members through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. He has also cared for patients and families in hospice and clinical care settings, developing deep experience in grief, loss, and end-of-life support. This diverse background allows Jared to meet people wherever they are — whether coping with trauma, illness, transition, or everyday stress.
He holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Amridge University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Utah State University, and has completed four units of full-time, certified Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) — the highest level of clinical pastoral training available. Jared combines this training and lived experience to tailor support to each person's unique needs.
